Someone's got to walk in there and say, I want awl the Lifshine films. Some smart dude might just do that. Actually a few of them should do that. Make it a Lifshine Film Marathon lol. If you search Youtube for Super 8, your return will be dismal. Ok, I came across one good film today. It was two boys and their father in South America. Minimum burn; minimum scratch, good story line. Very well edited. But it's a Super 8 rarity. Perhaps even in DigiBeta which would be a shift. Forget this aerial telecine thing. Some ppl brought their Super 8 cameras to the beach. A lot of them in fact. Well I had a waterfront. Nearly same thing. One of my great elements is the children. Tons and tons of children. There needs to be an opening up of the Super 8 market. Perhaps I can spark that market. And this thing about sound. I think some moron here was insisting I could've added SOUND to the work. Meanwhile there isn't a single Super 8 upload to Youtube with original sound. So much for THAT brilliant deduction, right? Maybe I would've been better off with 16mm. You must understand 16mm was not readily available to me in the early 1970s. And things would've been different. Perhaps no Wereo today, perhaps not even the biggest name on the Internets Lifshine today. I think you had to go for training for that! I don't know. I still don't know. I know I had a hard enough time with my Honeywell-Pentax SLR! That I know. That was one of the top cameras of the day, I think. Look at the beautiful pictures I took with it. In fact I even brought it to the Rainbow show where I interviewed Ritchie and Roger. However the pictures came out real bad. I still have those pictures if I could find them. I think someone stole them though. Goes to show you how much I knew about photography. The good pictures I have from the Pentax were lucky pictures. It's awl fate, my friends. Awl fate.
