Digital Still Video Camera Canon RC-250 Digital Camera If you are looking for the Apple QuickTake, don't it is much more expensive and it only holds 32 low res pictures, and a max of 8 high res pictures and then thats it, you must erase the EPROMS. The RC-250 can hold on the included video discs, 250 high res pictures, as compared to the Quicktakes 8 maximum. The RC-250 uses video floppy discs, each stores 50 high res images. Images can be erased and recaptured to a video floppy over and over again. The package comes with 5 video floppy discs. The quicktake 100's lens is equivevent to a 50mm on a 35mm camera and the two I am selling are much much better. The shutter speed is much faster, it can do from 1/30 to 1/500 while the quictake can only do 1/30 to 1/175. The fstops for the quicktake are 2.8 to16 while my camera has fstops between 2.8 and 22. I have several of these still digital video cameras (one I am keeping for myself). It allows you to take pictures and play them back to your TV VCR LaserDisc and possible to you computer (depending on your computer). Just think of the possibilities, if your a photographer imagine that you could take photographs digitally and show them on TV or create a video of photographs. If you have a computer you can edit and manipulate you images. For example, I have imported my images into Adobe Photoshop. Bigtime magazines, such as Time magazine uses this technology on cover images. They took digital pictures with a digital camera and imported them into Photoshop and manipulated it. If you have ever seen digital imaging, it's wild, you are only limited by your imagination. Suppose you work in some sort sales/marketing area. You would be able to take pictures of products, import them into your computer, put images into flyers ect. You could also use it to create interactive multimedia presentations with very high quality 24 bit (16,777,216 colors). The possibilities are endless. After the pictures are taken, if you don't like one you can delete it and reuse that space on the disk, endless film basically.
