This generation of American families and their children will be the one that destroys our society. I'd bet my next paycheck that every generation says this about the one coming up after them. Yet somehow society hasn't collapsed. Ain't that amazing?

Yeah, but in the past, they weren't blowing away their classmates at Columbine. I swear, those two killers get far too much credit. The handfull of kids who haul off and blow away classmates statistically amount to about 0% of their generations population. Anybody with any concept of mathematics will tell you that you can't make generalizations or predictions _base_d on 0% of any population. Yet for some reason, any time the topic of this generation comes up, Columbine High School seems to sum things up for everybody... Not me Actually, all that is being proved here is short memories. If you research it (and another poster did a couple of months ago), you can find examples of some teen going nutsyfagin every few years back into the '20's. It happens. If not with guns then with axes. In the late '40's early '50's we MADE guns in shop class in Jr. High in Los Angeles. Not very efficient guns, true, but they would do the job at close range. I am very thankful I got out of that neighborhood alive. Bob

Did we ever get that information? And what is the it that happened in the movie that she may or may not want? I tend to think of high school age as under-18 since I graduated at 16, but a large part of the senior class is 18 at some point during the year. I just forget if they told us what grade they were in. Joe
